FOUNDER'S STORY

Why I Started Livewell

I did not start Live Well Development Center simply to offer therapy—I started it because families facing developmental challenges were isolated and children with incredible potential were being excluded. Beyond therapy, these families needed a dedicated community of professionals to advocate for them, believe in them, and walk alongside them. That need became our foundation: a space where children are recognized for their strengths, families are empowered, and communities are equipped for true inclusion.

We believe every child can learn, communicate, and thrive with the right support. What began as a professional calling is now our personal mission: ensuring no child is left behind because they experience the world differently. Every family we empower and every barrier we remove reaffirms why Live Well exists—this is far more than our work, this is our purpose.

6. How long does an assessment take?

The length of the assessment depends on your child’s needs and the type of evaluation required. Some assessments may be completed in one session, while comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments may require multiple sessions.

7. Will I receive a written report?

Yes. Following the assessment process, families receive a comprehensive report outlining findings, strengths, areas of need, recommendations, and proposed intervention strategies.
